Connecting to MySQL via Tableau and do analysis on Dell DVD Store database testsuite

To test the Tableau connection to MySQL, I downloaded the Dell DVD Store database test suite and import into MySQL:

Now I have a ready MySQL database connection as above.

Typing in the credential to connect to the MySQL database and choose ds2 (Dell DVD store database test suite):

Select the order table and do necessary join with other tables:

Now you are ready to do your analysis.
